When I first discovered the powerful use of sound healing and frequencies, I was dealing with extremely high stress levels from overwork. Being a nurse, I had many days where I was dealing with physically and emotionally busy days. This would then flow onto other areas of my life including my relationships and home life. Insomnia and fatigue were common occurrences and finding a way to decompress at the end of the day was vital.
Then I discovered sound healing with the use of instruments, live sessions and eventually creating my own sound healing playlist. This technique enabled me to destress, unwind and sleep better at the end of busy days. In this post, I am going to discuss some benefits of sound healing and some simple ways to bring sound healing into your life.
Use of sound healing in history and research:
In ancient Greece, the mathematician Pythagoras invented harmonic relationships between musical chords and mathematical ratios. He was convinced that frequencies and sound healing had a positive effect on the human body and daily exposure was beneficial to health.
In research, sound healing has been found to be beneficial against feelings of tension, depression and anxiety and improve spiritual well-being.

How to use sound healing to heal the body:
Buy an instrument such as a singing bowl, chime or drum. Pick one that resonates with you and use it when feeling stressed to release energy.
Make or follow a sound healing playlist using frequencies and chanting. Spotify is a great tool that can be used to make your own playlists and has apps for phones. Here is one I have made earlier for you to try. It can be great to listen to when winding down or trying to sleep at night.
Practice meditations where chanting or humming is used to clear energy from the body. Here are some meditations on insight timer that use chanting to clear energy. Chanting for anxiety and fear during uncertain times.
Visit your local yoga or healing centre to attend a sound healing session. This is highly recommended to try at least once. Instruments such as drums, digeridoos, flutes, singing bowls or chanting will be used over the body to encourage healing and movement of energy blocks.
I hope this helps you to clear stress and built up emotion so that you can sleep better and have a more positive life.
Love and light,
Branwen
