THROAT CHAKRA — SPEAKING YOUR TRUTH WITH SOFT COURAGE

The Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) is the energetic centre of expression, communication, and authentic truth.
When this space feels blocked or tender, we might notice:
- Difficulty expressing needs
- Fear of being misunderstood
- A tight throat, jaw tension, or holding back tears
- People-pleasing or over-explaining
- Feeling like our voice doesn’t matter
And when it’s open and balanced, our voice becomes a bridge — between inner truth and outer action, between what we feel and how we live.
Today, we’re tending to this centre with gentleness, not force.
Soft truth. Soft courage. Soft presence.
A SIMPLE THROAT CHAKRA RITUAL
You’ll need:
A glass of water
A blue object (stone, scarf, candle, flower — anything)
A quiet moment
Steps:
- Sit comfortably and place your blue object near your throat or in front of you.
- Take three slow breaths, imagining cool blue light flowing into your throat.
- Place your hand gently over your throat and whisper (even silently):
“I honour my voice.”
- Sip your water slowly, imagining it clearing and soothing your inner voice.
- Sit for a moment and notice any sensations — warmth, tightness, emotion, spaciousness.
No need to change anything. Just witness.
This ritual is about permission, not performance.
AFFIRMATION FOR THE THROAT CHAKRA
“My voice is worthy. My truth is safe with me.”
Let it be soft. Let it be yours.
JOURNAL PROMPT
Take a few minutes to explore:
“Where in my life am I whispering when I long to speak clearly?”
“What truth within me is ready to be acknowledged, even if I don’t share it yet?”
Let your pen move without judgement.
Your throat chakra opens through honesty with yourself first — expression comes later.
