Embracing the Pisces Supermoon: A Spring Awakening

Dear lunar wanderers of Sacred Self Care Space,

Tonight, the cosmic stage is set for a celestial spectacle—the Pisces Supermoon. Let’s gather our intentions, light our metaphorical candles, and explore the magic woven into this lunar dance.

The Pisces Supermoon: Oceanic Dreams and Cosmic Whispers

  • Why “super”? Because our lunar companion is cosying up to Earth, making it appear larger and brighter. Imagine the moon winking at us from just across the cosmic sea.

  • In Pisces, this moon whispers: “Dive deep into your emotions. Trust your intuition. Dance with the tides of your soul.”

Chaste Moon in Spring: A Southern Hemisphere Tale

  • While our Northern Hemisphere friends celebrate the Harvest Moon in September, we, in the southern lands, welcome the Chaste Moon.

  • Why “chaste”? Not about prudishness, but purity. Early spring symbolises new beginnings, fresh buds, and the renewal of life. Our gardens awaken, and so do our souls.

The Metaphysical Eclipse: Hidden Wisdom

  • Alas, we won’t witness the eclipse this time. But metaphysically, eclipses are cosmic portals—opportunities for release, transformation, and soul growth.

  • Reflect on what needs releasing. Write it down, then burn the paper under the moon’s glow. Let go, dear ones.

Eclipse Release Ritual: Surrendering with Grace

  1. Setting the Space: Find a quiet, dimly lit area—indoors or outdoors. Light a black or dark purple candle—a symbol of release.

  2. Breathwork: Sit comfortably. Inhale deeply, imagining you’re drawing in cosmic energy. Exhale slowly, releasing what no longer serves you.

  3. Write It Down: Grab a piece of paper and a pen. Write down what you’re ready to release: fears, old patterns, regrets, anything heavy.

  4. Eclipse Visualization: Close your eyes. Imagine the moon moving across the sun, casting a shadow. Visualise your written words dissolving in this shadow.

  5. Tear and Burn: Tear the paper into small pieces. Safely burn them (use a fireproof bowl or sink). As the flames consume the paper, say aloud: “I release you.”

  6. Water Element: Fill a bowl with water. Dip your fingers in. Sprinkle water over your head, symbolising purification.

  7. Affirmation: Speak an affirmation: “I release the old. I make space for new beginnings.” Feel the weight lifting.

  8. Gratitude: Thank the moon, the universe, and your own spirit. Trust that the eclipse energy supports your intentions.

Remember, releasing isn’t about forgetting—it’s about honouring what was and making room for what will be.

May this Supermoon illuminate your path, and may your intentions ripple through the cosmic ocean.

With lunar love,

Branwen
